I'm a little late on this (been heads down recently), but I'm very interested in
Don's work on these VS.NET code snippets for XSD and WSDL and how they might encourage contract-first development with certain developer types. They probably won't help the angle-bracket-impaired, but they may provide a sweet spot for the
Tim Ewald's of the world, anyone who likes to work with raw XML.
I spent a few hours last week trying to get them up and running, but unfortunately, you need one of the latest drops of VS.NET b2 for it to work properly. Can't wait to give them a run. I would love for authoring WSDL to be as easy as authoring an <xsd:complexType>.
I'd be interested to hear how others respond to this approach once you've played a bit.
