I attempted to installed TFS and it let me know right away that it wasn't 64-bit compatible (all components) so TFS support is still a pipe dream for me. Guess I'll just have to keep using my Windows Explorer based SVN client until Microsoft rectifies this issue with VS2010, unless someone here knows of a good work around..

Sorry to hear about your trouble. One tool to consider is Free Download Manager. I use it. It works well with Microsoft.com. You can get it at www.freedownloadmanager.org. Also, Brian Keller has a blog post on using it at http://is.gd/eSE5. He's updated things for this release. Good luck and I'll pass along your feedback.

Lots of excitement to start of the new year!

I noticed that the DOWNLOAD buttons don't use the MS FileTransferManager, which is making the process difficult. Today is day _3_ of the download and I up to *6.rar. Its not that my company has poor bandwidth, its that I have had to restart the process several times (these don't resume, they restart). I am running IE 7 on Vista. Is this my own doing?

One restart was caused, seemingly, by my PC going to sleep when I left the office. Arggg. Another was b/c I had a webinar to attend and needed to pause the downloads for reasonable video playback. When the webinar concluded I resumed the downloads, which did a restart. Double arggg.
