John Gough and Co. just released the first beta of
Garden Point Ruby.NET
, their Ruby compiler that targets CLR.
Looks like I have a weekend project…

I'm looking forward to trying this out on the weekend as well.
In related news, John Lam has released a new drop of RubyCLR: http://www.iunknown.com/articles/2006/06/19/rubyclr-drop-4

Now all we want is for it to work with Steel, so we can use VS2005

Don,
Do you have any thoughts on Garden Point's Ruby.NET compiler? You mention in your entry that you have a "weekend project". How did it perform?
Micheal
P.S. I would greatly enjoy it if Microsoft would become much more active in this project.
