I meant to post this yesterday but I've been pretty tied up between the webcast series and MEDC prep.

Like the title says J, you can now download ActiveSync 4.2 Beta. ActiveSync 4.2 provides two major improvements over 4.1.
  • Significantly improved Outlook synchronization
  • Improved detection and handling of USB connectivity problems including reporting that a connectivity problem may exist rather then just not working as it often does now.

For those who attended this week's webcast, Choosing the Best Data Management and Synchronization Solution for Your Mobile Application, the follow up download containing the program that we built during the webcast will be available later today. My apologies for not making the download available sooner but as I mentioned at the beginning of this post, MEDC prep occupies pretty much all of my day.

And one other quick note - I'm hoping to see everyone at our next webcast, Windows Mobile as a Gaming Platform. The webcast is broadcast live on Wednesday 2-May-2006 at 11:00 AM PDT (19:00 GMT). If you're interested in learning about the new capabilities Windows Mobile has introduced to make building Pocket PC and SmartPhone games easier, you'll want to attend.

Windows Mobile as a Gaming Platform is the last webcast in our series. If you've missed any of the webcasts in the series, you can always catch them on demand by visiting the series home page Taking Your Mobile Apps to the Next Level.
