As you know, Windows Mobile 6 adds a bunch of features not available in Windows Mobile 5.0 - Windows Mobile 5.0 added a ton of features that PocketPC/Smartphone 2003SE didn't have. Finding a comprehensive list of the changes and their implications to both users and developers hasn't always been easy.
 
In general, I look at Windows Mobile 5.0 being a release that added good new user features and a ton of new developer features.
 
Windows Mobile 6 I look at as a release with a ton of new user features, some good new developer features and great new developer tools.
 
To get the full picture of what each Windows Mobile release offers from both a user and a developer view point, here are some resources that I think that you'll find helpful.
