Lynn Langit

Lynn is Founder of Lynn Langit Consulting, an analysis, strategy and advisory firm serving data customers. She is the author of 3 books on SQL Server Business Intelligence (OLAP) the most recent of which is 'Smart Business Intelligence with SQL Server 2008'/MSPress. Lynn is also the author of many articles on BigData Technologies. In 2012 she was recognized by Google for her community education work around their commercial cloud and received the Google Developer Expert award. Since leaving a 4 year stint at Microsoft in 2011, Lynn has been leading architecture projects and educating developers around the work in data technologies. These include SQL Server, Hadoop, MongoDB, AWS RDS, DynamoDB and Google Cloud technologies. Lynn is a ‘trusted tester’ (or ‘insider’) for upcoming technologies from Google, Microsoft, AWS, Right Scale, 10Gen, Cloudera, Melissa Data, QlikView and more.
