What you'll learn
This course starts from the basics of backup, recovery, and replication and provides foundational knowledge for understanding backups and restores in a virtual environment. The vDP and vDPA products are covered in depth, with their features, functionals, and limitations reviewed. We will look at configuring and running backups, restores, backup verification jobs, and replication jobs. Next, the advanced file-level restore, application-level backups, and Direct-To-Host Emergency restores are discussed in-depth. Finally, best practices and troubleshooting tips and tricks are provided to help administrators or users get the most out of a vDP deployment.
