How it works

• Offline viewing allows you to cache up to 30 course modules on your mobile device. Simply choose the modules you want to watch offline and our app will cache them on your device. It's super simple. Each module will automatically be deleted after 30 days (or when you no longer have a Plus subscription) and you can always choose to delete them manually to make room for more.

• Monthly Plus (paid subscribers only - trials do not have access to offline viewing, sorry!)
• Annual Plus

• iOS (iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch)
• Android (most devices)
• Windows Phone (most devices)

To cache a module for offline viewing, follow the steps below for your specific platform:

PC/Mac

If you've recently upgraded to a Plus subscription and you're not seeing the features below, simply log out and log back in so the app knows you're Plus.

1. Install the Offline Player for PC/Mac
2. Launch the player from your laptop or desktop PC/Mac
3. Click 'Add' to get started
4. Select the desired course and choose which modules to cache for offline viewing
5. Modules will start downloading automatically

iOS

1. Launch the Pluralsight app on your iPad, iPhone or iPod and choose the module that you wish to cache.
2. Tap the download button on the lower left.
3. Tap on the 'Offline' tab to see cached modules.
4. Once you have viewed the modules tap edit to delete to make room for more.

Android

If you've recently upgraded to a Plus subscription and you're not seeing the features below, simply log out and log back in so the app knows you're Plus.

1. Launch the Pluralsight app on your Android device and choose the module that you wish to cache.
2. Long press (hold down) the module you wish to cache.
3. Tap 'Make available offline' from the resulting popup menu.
4. Your home screen will show the caching progress of your modules. Note that the Android player supports background caching, so you can leave the app and it'll still continue to cache your offline modules.

Windows Phone

If you've recently upgraded to a Plus subscription and you're not seeing the features below, simply log out and log back in so the app knows you're Plus.

1. Launch the Pluralsight app on your Windows Phone device and choose the module that you wish to cache.
2. Tap the 'Queue for Offline' button.
3. Tap the three dots at the bottom of the screen to see your offline queue.
4. To begin caching the module(s), tap the down arrow button at the bottom of the screen.

Terms of use

You may only cache up to 30 course modules on your device at any given time. Cached modules are for your personal use only and cannot be copied, shared, or distributed in any way. See our Terms of use.
