Nic Bhasin

Nic Bhasin is a Solutions Engineer for Cisco where he works on creating effective network solutions to fit his customers' diverse needs. As a lifelong learner and teacher, his passion is to take complex ideas, break them down into digestible chunks and present them to his audience in creative ways. Constantly interacting with his 9-year-old on topics as diverse as Music Theory, History, Physics, Mathematics and Baseball allows him to keep the teaching muscle well honed. His instructional philosophy can be summarized in a single phrase, "The notion that Powerpoint is boring stems from boring presenters, not the software". Another way to look at it is that you won't blame the English alphabet for a boring story, the author could have accomplished that using Kanji just as easily.
