Objective:

This series will teach you how to successfully manage, monitor, support and troubleshoot a XenDesktop 7 solution, including growing the implementation to accommodate changes in the environment. In addition to field experience, this course prepares you for the Managing XenDesktop 7 Solutions exam, the requirement for the Citrix Certified Associate - Apps and Desktops certification.

 

Target audience:

This course is ideal for Operators and Administrators looking to learn the skills required to effectively manage and support a Citrix app and desktop virtualization solution in a Windows Server 2012 environment.

 

Description:

In this series you'll begin with an introduction to Citrix and the XenDesktop Architecture. Next, you'll work through getting your Citrix XenDesktop environment up and running. During the installation you'll get your core components, as well as StoreFront and Receiver up and running.

In part three of this series the focus dives into Citrix Provisioning Services, including how to install and configure it. Part three wraps up with getting PVS set up for high availability.

The final course in this series walks you through different management situations including implementing policies, setting up printing and setting up secure remote access with your Citrix XenDesktop environment.
