Course Overview
My name is Tim Warner, and I'm a full-time Pluralsight trainer and a Microsoft MVP in cloud and datacenter management. We've designed this course to accelerate your success with the Microsoft Azure public cloud platform, specifically in the Infrastructure as a Service, IaaS, monitoring and management scenario. By the end of this course, you'll be able to monitor and maintain your IaaS deployments according to Microsoft best patterns and practices.

Introducing Azure Management Solutions
Hi there, and welcome to Pluralsight. My name is Tim Warner. This module is entitled Introducing Azure Management Solutions. In this module, we're going to continue our journey through Azure monitoring. I'm going to start by giving you what I consider to be the big picture in monitoring Azure Infrastructure as a Service, IaaS, solutions. We're then going to pay particular attention to one solution, specifically the Insight and Analytics solution. We're going to create a workspace in the Azure portal, we'll look at onboarding VMs and apps, and then specifically we'll take a look at the Service Map and Network Performance Monitor components in the I&A solutions. Let's get into this and prepare to have some fun.

Deep Analysis with Microsoft Azure Log Analytics
Hello there, and welcome to Pluralsight. My name is Tim Warner, and this module is entitled Deep Analysis with Microsoft Azure Log Analytics. This is a pretty straightforward module. It's the third and final module in our IaaS monitoring course. My main learning goal for you in this module is to get you comfortable with Log Analytics, understanding what it is, how it fits in with the Azure monitoring ecosystem, and I want you to learn how, at least the basics, of creating log searches. The search syntax is somewhat reminiscent of the Structured Query Language, or SQL. It's also somewhat reminiscent of PowerShell, if you're familiar with that. So at the end of this module, I want you to walk away being well equipped to begin doing deep analysis of your Azure IaaS services.
