Create an Aurora Database
You'll create an Aurora cluster with a single-instance database.
Create a Multi-AZ Deployment
You'll configure the cluster so it becomes a Multi-AZ deployment, and will add a read replica.
Test a Failover Scenario
You'll test your cluster's high availability by forcing a failover of the primary writer instance.
Provided environment for hands-on practice
We will provide the credentials and environment necessary for you to practice right within your browser.
