Kevin Whinnery

Kevin Whinnery is a code plumber and evangelist for Twilio, an API platform that makes it easy for developers to send and receive text or picture messages, make and receive phone calls, and embed VoIP calling into web or native mobile apps. Kevin is the author and maintainer of Twilio's official node.js module as well as several other developer-facing software projects. Prior to joining Twilio, Kevin spent four years at Appcelerator, where he helped launch Titanium Mobile, a JavaScript platform for building native mobile apps on iOS and Android. Kevin is also the founder and co-organizer of JavaScriptMN, one of Minnesota's largest and most active technical user groups. Kevin lives in Saint Paul, MN with his beautiful wife and three devious children.
