What you'll learn

Have you ever worked with footage that has really cool action in it, but the timing just won't work with the rest of your shot? If so, this is the perfect course for you. In this course, Retiming Footage in NUKE, you'll learn how to completely change the timing of your footage. First, you'll look at setting up your footage and simple ways to offset your footage in NUKE. Next, you'll discover how to speed up or slow down your footage and how to create motion blur, or frames that never existed in your original shot. Finally, you'll learns some techniques for cleaning up some of the artifacts that the retiming process can cause, so that you have the perfect final image. When you're finished with this NUKE course, you'll not only have a better understanding of how NUKE works with time, but also how to use it to create great looking dramatic footage. Software required: NUKE.
