What's New In RHEL 9

by Andrew Mallett

Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 8 and 9 are very similar and you can prepare for either exam by working though the RHEL 8 courses. This course will teach you the minor differences between the two systems and the two exams.

What you'll learn

Although fundamentally the same, there are minor differences between the RHEL products and exams, but not enough to justify a completely new track. In this course, What's New In RHEL 9, you’ll learn the main differences between each product and exam. First, you’ll explore the new features of RHEL 9. Next, you’ll discover how to configure VDO (data deduplication and compression) with LVM. Finally, you’ll learn how to configure Podman containers as a system service or run services in containers. When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge of the new features of RHEL 9 needed to pass with the RHCSA 9 exam in conjunction with the existing RHEL 8 courses.
