Making of the animated series Steampuff

‌‌
Steelehouse Productions is a media creation studio that has worked on a range of projects from VFX to 3D animation. Recently, they announced a project in collaboration with Dark Horse Comics called Rexodus. One of Steelehouse's more visually-intriguing pieces of work is their indie children's mini-series Steampuff. Steampuff is set in a Steam Punk world where transforming trains are the norm. One of the things that really stands out about Steampuff is the hybrid mix of 2D and 3D animation. The guys over at Steelehouse Productions are able to masterfully mix 2D effects and elements within a 3D world. The result is a beautiful aesthetic that gives Steampuff a unique look. While Steelehouse Productions takes on all things media for many different clients, their Steampuff series is their own labor of love that really shows the dedication of some extremely talented artists. Be sure to watch Steampuff episodes 1-3. Watch our exclusive behind the scenes video below to see inside the creation process for Steampuff.
