Managing users and groups in Linux enables you to protect resources on your system. In this course, Ubuntu Linux Administration: User and Group Management, you’ll learn to manage local identities in Ubuntu 20.04. First, you’ll explore user accounts and the tools used to manage them. Next, you’ll discover passwords and authentication. Finally, you’ll learn how to enable additional features using Pluggable Authentication Modules (PAM). When you’re finished with this course, you’ll have the skills and knowledge of local identity management needed to manage users and groups in Linux.

About the author
