Troubleshoot Fluentd Plugin Use
In this lab, you will be provided with a server that has Fluentd set up for you. There is a problem with the configuration, so you will need to perform troubleshooting to find the problems. Once found, you will need to fix the problems and get Fluentd to perform the required tasks.

Check the td-agent configuration file and any other relevant files to see why the
rsyslog
output is not being shown.Then troubleshoot why the
rsyslog
output is not being shown in the td-agent stdout log. -

Once you have fixed the problems, test the configuration by restarting anything that needs to be restarted.

Test the rsyslog Output Is Being Received
Use another terminal and log in to the provided lab server again, or use a command that would be shown in the standard
rsyslog
output.You should see this data is being shown as entries in the Fluentd log.
