The latest reboot for the Hitman adaptation Hitman: Agent 47 unleashed a new trailer featuring the UK's, Rupert Friend as the dual-wielding, dapper assassin. The new film also brings on Zachary Quinto (Star Trek Into Darkness) as John Smith and Hanna Ware (Betryal,TV series) as the daughter of the Agency's founder.
The Hitman sequel's plot bears little resemblance to the first film, which starred Timothy Olyphant in the title role, but looks to be just as action packed. The trailer shows some video game-inspired VFX building explosions and car crashes along with a very intriguing helicopter-trapped-in-an-office situation. Some of the scenes such as the flaming car hitting the bridge have cameras tied so much to their movement, that they contain a quasi-game aesthetic. Hitman: Agent 47 is due for release August 28th this year.
