The Fundamentals of Using Music with Video Hey, my name is Eric Harris, and I'd like to welcome you to my course, Animating with Music in Adobe After Effects. Music is a really powerful catalyst for creating an emotional connection with your audience. When it's done right, music can be the difference between a good video and a great video, and adding music to your animations is an easy way to make them a lot more fun to watch. Inside Adobe After Effects, I'll show you how to create an animation that's purposefully synced with music. Adding music will move your viewer to watch your video again and again and also inspire them to share it. In this course, we'll work together to sync the transitions and movement of a text animation with the timing and beat of music. We'll also use the power of music to enhance an animation composed of shape layers. Then, I'll walk you through the steps to create a highly engaging audio reaction spectrum to showcase your music and captivate your audience. You've probably seen these on YouTube before. They're really cool, and they're a lot easier to make than you might think. This course is for beginners, but some general video editing knowledge and a basic understanding of Adobe After Effects would be helpful in the learning process.
