Course Overview
Hi, everyone. My name is Megan Andrew, and welcome to my course on Collaborating and Self Management in Agile Environments. I'm currently in the business consulting space and have worked within product management for the last seven years, both within really large corporates, as well as within much smaller startups. This course is a look into how to thrive within an agile environment, as well as how to effectively collaborate between both agile and non‑agile environments. With so many organizations using an agile approach, moving towards agile, or leveraging elements of agile, it really is essential to have the skills, techniques, and knowledge required for effectively operating and collaborating within the agile space. Some of the major topics that we'll cover will include how to successfully operate and collaborate within a self‑managing team, leveraging Agile's framework for ensuring sustainable and reliable implementation, as well as for ongoing optimization and improvement, the skills and approach required to successfully collaborate between agile and non‑agile environments. By the end of this course, you'll have the usable skills, knowledge, and techniques that will allow you to effectively collaborate and a thrive within any agile environment. Before beginning the course, you should be familiar with Agile, the Agile principles, and the basics of how to leverage the Agile approach within the project management space.
