Course Overview
Hi everyone. My name is Michael Barone, and welcome to my course, Alteryx Designer: Getting Started. I'm a data scientist, and I'm also 1 of approximately 25 worldwide Alteryx ACEs. The ACE title is a designation that Alteryx only gives to their most influential and supportive experts of the Alteryx software. In this course, we're going to learn how to take your raw data and quickly turn it into information that can be shared and acted upon, all to enhance and create value for your customers and your organization. Learn why Gartner recognizes Alteryx' user-friendly drag-and-drop platform as one of the highest rated softwares in their most recent Magic Quadrant report. Some of the major topics that we will cover include pulling raw data from the source of record into Alteryx, processing and manipulating that data with an easy-to-understand drag-and-drop interface, and how to distribute relevant reports pertaining to that data. By the end of this course, you'll know enough about Alteryx to be off and running with building your very own workflows that will save you countless hours of development and processing time. Before beginning the course, you should be familiar with basic data literacy. But don't worry; you won't need to bring much more to this course than would be required to used Microsoft Excel. I hope you'll join me on this journey to learn how to use your data to gain valuable insight with the Alteryx Designer: Getting Started course, at Pluralsight.
