Lara is a self taught software engineer who understands the importance of high quality understandable content for acquiring new skills. Before her career as a software engineer, Lara worked as a Graphic Designer and taught art to students of all ages. Her love of teaching carried over into software engineering when she began speaking at conferences across the globe and co-hosting the Angular Plus Show, a podcast for all things Angular and Angular adjacent. In addition to working as a software engineering technical leader and giving back to the community through teaching, Lara also enjoys fostering orphaned kittens and traveling with her husband and two teens.
