Course Overview
Hi everyone. My name is Joseph Labrecque, and welcome to my course Animate CC Building Custom HTML5 Components. I'm a creative developer, interactive designer, and educator. I currently hold the position of Senior Interactive Software Engineer at the University of Denver. I'm the founder of Fractured Vision Media, LLC and serve as both Adobe Education Leader and Adobe Community Professional. In this course, we're going to explore how to build custom components for HTML5 Canvas documents in Animate CC, the multiplatform animation and interactivity application from Adobe. Some of the major topics that we will cover include an overview of how to use components in HTML5 Canvas documents, an exploration of how components are constructed, how to build and customize HTML5 Canvas components, and the available methods of packaging and distribution for your components. Before beginning the course, you should be familiar with what Animate CC is and have some basic knowhow regarding standard web technologies, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. By the end of this course, you'll be able to write, test, and distribute your own custom HTML5 Canvas components. I hope you'll join me on this journey in exploring these creative possibilities with the Animate CC Building Custom HTML5 Components course at Pluralsight.
