Course Overview
Mark Wilkins checking in holding the microphone. Welcome to my class, AWS Security Operations where we're securing object storage. Now I spend quite a bit of time architecting Amazon web solutions with customers that are wanting to move and are running at a storage, yet they're scared to death to store their corporate data in the cloud. So hopefully, if you're looking at this class, you're probably worried about storage, lack of storage on-prem, or the storage in the cloud, and how best to secure that. If you have some questions about Amazon and object storage and how you can best present that content and users, well that's what we're doing in this class where we look at storage solutions at Amazon and how we could also place those corporate resources behind some protection, ie. cloud front distributions. So if you have a need for learning about Amazon S3 storage and how to set up a storage properly and how to learn some of the best practices that you should look at as far as risk management analysis before jumping into the Amazon jungle, then this class is for you. Now this class is also one of a number of classes in this series of looking at the security aspect of Amazon and their AWS cloud environment. So I hope you'll join me and have some fun looking at storage and where do I put all this stuff.
