Introduction and Project Overview
I am Chris Fuller. I'm a 2D animator, illustrator, and graphic designer living in Brooklyn. I've worked with clients like Spike, Fuse, Universal Music Group, Barnes and Noble, and many more. So, in this course we're going to be taking this storyboard, and we're going to be creating this animation right here. And we're going to be doing this all within standard Flash specs, which are under 40 kilobytes, 18 frames per second. It needs to be ActionScript 2, because this is going to be Flash Player 8. And the banner itself should not run over 15 seconds. We're going to be employing a lot of tips and tricks to get this to optimize, to stay under 40 kB. I'm going to be showing you workflow tips as well as general best practices. All right, let's get started.
