Course Overview
Hi, everyone. My name is Shawn Wildermuth, and welcome to my course, Creating a Responsive Layout with Bootstrap Grid. I'm a speaker, author, and Microsoft MVP, working at my own company, Wilder Minds. There are many ways to make your web applications work well on a variety of platforms. One common technique is to use responsive design. In this course, we are going to apply Bootstrap's grid system to a website to make it responsive. Some of the major topics that we'll cover include, what is responsive design, how Bootstrap's grid system works, how to apply a responsive design using the grid system, and how to use flexbox to help with nontraditional layouts. By the end of this course, you'll know how to apply Bootstrap to make your own website work on a variety of different device sizes. Before beginning the course, you should be familiar with the basics of Bootstrap and understand HTML and CSS. From here, you should feel comfortable diving into Bootstrap's other features by continuing with courses on Bootstrap components, customizing Bootstrap, and Bootstrap typography. I hope you join me in this journey to learn response website design with the course, Creating a Responsive Layout with Bootstrap Grid, here at Pluralsight.
