Introduction and Project Overview
Hi everyone, my name's James Whiffin. I'm a Freelance Compositor and Motion Designer. My latest projects include working on music videos, TV commercials and independent films. In this course we're going to create a 3D Time Warp Effect. Some of the key takeaways from watching this course include learning efficient Rotoscoping techniques in After Effects (mumbles), Matchmoving and 3D stabilization in PFTrack and Maya, using custom built (mumbles) tools to automate tedious tasks in Maya, and composting all our assets together in After Effects. By the end of this training you'll have learned how to use an entire pipeline of tools to transform an idea in your head to a completed visual effects shot. I'm excited to work with Digital Tutors and share these techniques with you, so let's get started with the first lesson.
