Hey everyone. My name is Jeff Collins, and welcome to my course, Creating Web Part Customizations Using SharePoint Framework. I'm the CEO of Couple Technology from Tampa, Florida. Now that most organizations are moving to or utilizing SharePoint modern, they are finding the need to extend its capabilities, and the SharePoint Framework provides that ability. While Microsoft provides many web parts and continues growing, they are intending to build web parts that meet custom business processes for each business. By utilizing the SharePoint Framework web parts, each business is provided the tools and resources to build the web parts that meet their business needs. In this course, we're going to learn how to create and extend SharePoint Framework web parts. Some of the major topics that we will cover include overview of a SharePoint Framework web part project, planning a SharePoint Framework web part project, building your SharePoint Framework web part, and then extending your SharePoint Framework web part as well. By the end of this course, you will know how to build a SharePoint Framework web part and extend it utilizing community‑driven examples and samples. Before the beginning of this course, you should be familiar with the basics of SharePoint and have some JavaScript development experience.
