Introduction and Project Overview
Hi, everyone. My name is Petros Afshar. I am a graphic designer at Studio Saap. My latest projects include designer pro-wear for Nike, illustration contents for Red Bull, and branding communications for Microsoft, to name a few. In this course, we're going to learn how to design illustrations and type using different shapes and elements of line art. Some of the key take-aways from watching this course include learning how to create simple illustrations using shapes and stylistic elements, design a more-complex illustration using the techniques learned, designing a typeface that complements your illustration, as well as transforming your type and illustration into the other design mediums, such as logos and iconography. By the end of the training, you will have learned how to design illustrations using a variety of shapes and elements, as well as creating your own display type to use as part of your illustrations. I'm excited to work with Digital-Tutors and share these techniques with you aspiring artists and designers. Let's get started.
