Introduction to CSS3
Hi there. Welcome to this course on CSS3. My name is Michael Palermo. I can't wait to show you all the cool things that you can do with CSS3, it's going to help you to design and style your websites. This module serves as an introduction to the entire course. In this module, first we're going to consider a course overview, what are we going to be doing, are you the right person for this course, followed by an accelerated review of CSS technologies in general and then we're going to have a summary. ( Silence )

Content
Hello again. This is Michael Palermo and in this course on CSS 3, this module is going to focus on content. So what do we mean by that? In our module overview, we're going to specifically address fonts, we're going to look at selectors, we're also going to look at form inputs, we're going to see that there's state of data that we can address in our styling and then we'll have a summary.

Layout
Hi. This is Michael Palermo. In this course on CSS 3, we're going to explore layout possibilities in this module. First we are going to consider how you can position things into your page, then we're going to look at some background options -- some features that may be very desirable to you, and then we'll have a summary of what we did.

Colors
Hi, this is Michael Palermo. In this course on CSS3, this module, believe it or not, the entire thing is dedicated to just colors. Let's see why. In the overview, we're going to talk about opacity, the things you can see or not; RGBA and HSLA, what do those things mean to you and how can you use them as color options in your CSS syntax; then we're going to have some eye candy at the end by exploring some gradients; and, of course, we'll have a summary that chats about all the things we learned in this module.

Borders
Hi, this is Michael Palermo. In our course on CSS3, this module is completely dedicated to something simple; borders. Now the overview is as follows. We're going to understand how we can make them resizable; we're going to see how to round them; and we're going to see how to provide some shadowing to them. This is not a trivial thing because let's just face it these are highly sought after features in many of the new and modern websites today. So you're definitely going to want to pay attention to each one of these. Let's start with the first.

Transforms
Hi, there. This is Michael Palermo. In this course on CSS3 technologies. This module is all about transformers. So what does that mean? Transforms allow us to change things. How do we change them? Well, we're going to look at how we can rotate, skew, scale and translate things. We are going to see a demonstration of these at the end of this module and then we'll have a summary.

Animations
Hi. This is Michael Palermo. In this course on CSS3 technologies, we're now at the module regarding animations. In this module we're going to be covering what CSS3 refers to as animations. But at very related item to animations is called transitions. So we're going to understand what the difference between those two are, and you'll obviously be able to pick which one is best for your website. And then we're going to have a summary based on the things that we've learned.

Media Queries
Hello, this is Michael Palermo. In this course on CSS3, this module is all about media queries. We're going to find out what those are and how they might benefit you. The first thing that we're going to do is have a very rough draft overview of what is "responsive design"; then we're going to look at more tactical things, such as how to adjust styles based on a viewing dimension, and then how to adjust styles based on device constraints; and then we'll have a summary.

Script
Hi, this is Michael Palermo. In this last and final module in the course CSS3, we're going to be focusing on script. And we have good reason to do this. Let's find out why. For this module, we're going to focus on how you can and why you would change styles programmatically in Java Script. We're also going to see a key reason why you might be in script is to do feature detection and browser support. When we're done, we're going to have a summary of what we've learned, but we're also going to have a review of resources and of the entire course to make sure you got the most out of this experience.
