In this tutorial we go through the environment design process of a boss battle level from multiple angles. From the initial sketching phase, to lighting design in black and white, to the coloring process, we will go over from beginning to end a full fledged environment assignment. By the end of the tutorial we will have covered key tips and tricks in digital environment painting, as well as what to pay attention to in order to have an effective and engaging design.
