In this tutorial, we will learn about creating destructive particles and fragmenting models. Throughout these lessons we will learn how to create destruction with combining thinkingParticles and RayFire. First, we will have a quick introduction to thinkingParticles, covering the main tools, then we will try to destroy our animated character. After that, we will add more debris and dust particles, and lastly, we will create dust simulation using FumeFX and render everything out. Software required: 3ds Max 2012, Thinking Particles, RayFire, FumeFX.
Introduction and Project Overview Hi, everyone. My name is Haji Gadirov. I'm a freelance CG artist. Throughout this course, we will learn about thinkingParticles and Rayfire. We'll first start by having an introduction to thinkingParticles. We will talk about the groups, master dynamics, noise operators, etc. Then, we will jump into the project and start turning our animated character into ash. Then, after that, we will jump into the fumeFX and add some dust to our simulation. At the end, we will render it out and try to composite. I'm really excited to share this tutorial with you guys, so we'll see you in the next video.
