Course Overview
Hello everyone. My name is Joe Jorden, and I'd like to warmly welcome you to my course, Developing with the SharePoint Framework and Angular. I'm a senior SharePoint developer with ON Semiconductor, and I've been working with SharePoint since version 2007. I've found that one of SharePoint's greatest strengths is the ability to customize it to work how you need it to work. And one of the newest ways to customize SharePoint is by creating web parts and extensions using the SharePoint Framework. This course is specifically designed to help you learn how to create and deploy custom web parts and extensions using the SharePoint Framework with Angular. Some of the major topics we'll cover include scaffolding web parts and extensions using Yeoman, debugging with Chrome, creating and attaching the UI, reading and manipulating data in SharePoint using the Patterns and Practices library, deploying the web part and extension to production. By the end of this course, you'll know how to create, debug, and deploy custom web parts and extensions for your users to incorporate in their sites. From here, you can continue your learning by delving into other courses on Angular, Angular Elements, SharePoint, and the SharePoint Framework. I hope you'll join me on this adventure to learn how to create custom web parts and extensions with the Developing with the SharePoint Framework and Angular course, here at Pluralsight.
