Course Overview
Hi. I'm Tony Curtis. Welcome to my course Developing a Team and Its Culture. I'm currently a program manager at Health Catalyst, and I've promoted positive team culture in building relationships with coworkers for years in positions as a manager, lead, or engineer on many teams with various companies. Team development and culture are hot topics and the subject of many articles about how best to create an environment that will keep your team engaged. With the competition for talent so intense, you'll want to know what you can do to have a winning team strategy. I personally enjoy the dynamics of team interactions and the challenge of creating a team culture. In this course, we'll talk about some of the attributes a successful team will have. We'll discuss the importance of diversity in your team. We'll take a look at how culture can help your team be more cohesive. We'll talk about how a team identity can add to your team culture. And, we'll look at how you can measure the impact of your team development efforts. By the end of this course, you'll have some ideas about how to develop your team into something remarkable, and you'll learn some things about yogurt that you never dreamed would have an impact on your team. I hope you'll enjoy this journey with me as we learn about transforming your team with the Developing a Team and Its Culture course at Pluralsight.
