.NET 7 is the next version of .NET and contains a lot of interesting changes and new features, including a new version of C#. This course will teach you what you can expect in the latest iteration of the platform.

What you'll learn

With .NET 6, Microsoft has unified its different .NET platforms. .NET 7 is the next iteration which was released in November 2022 and brings new features to existing frameworks and languages. In this course, What’s New in .NET 7, you will learn the features of this new release. First, you’ll gain an understanding the general direction of the .NET 7 release and you’ll see how to update existing projects to the latest version. Then, you’ll explore the changes made to C# and the .NET BCL, and several new APIs were introduced that’ll make common tasks easier.
