Finding Miscellaneous Settings in Dynamics CRM
Welcome to Find Miscellaneous Settings in dynamic CRM, my name is Julie Yack. Our outline for today covers system settings, personal settings, data management settings, dialogs and workflow settings, and much more. This is a module of for lots of demonstrations. I often times when I'm teaching classes in person. Give a scavenger hunt type experience to my students to find certain system settings, because sometimes it's just hard to find them. Sometimes. It doesn't necessarily make sense where to find the things that you're looking for. So let's jump right into system settings. We have tabbed areas here. Some of these you'll use a lot, some of these you won't use very often. We've got the general area which contains such as, such as just getting started panes, which I'll show you in the demonstration. Which name format is necessary. The currency precision, you can see those different details here. We have the calendar option next, format options, which allows things such as localization for currency and numbers, sorting and such. Auditing information, this is one area where you must select auditing for auditing to work in any area of CRM. Email choices. This is an area in the demonstration where will spend a fair amount of time talking about the different settings we have here. Marketing choices, customization choices, outlook integration possibilities, and more. So we're going to jump into our demonstration of System Settings.
