Without further ado, let's get started and set up your first Facebook ad.

Understanding Facebook Ads
Now that you've created your first Facebook ad, I'll take you through all the elements of what you can do with Facebook ads. In this module, I'll talk a lot about all the tools you'll need to manage your Facebook ads and different ways you can target your audiences with those ads. Here's what you'll get from this module. First, you'll gain a stronger knowledge of the different options provided by Facebook towards advertising. We'll talk about Sponsored Stories, Promoted Pages, Promoted Posts, Promoted Installs, and more. If you're still unsure what those are, no worry, I'll show you. Next, I'm going to talk about the tools you have available to you. Facebook provides several key tools that will make management of your ad campaigns much easier. Once you grasp the tools you can use, you'll be well on your way to making your own decisions on Facebook advertising. I've mentioned this a few times throughout the course, after this course you're going to understand what a campaign actually is and how you can use campaigns as a virtual science experiment in advertising, giving you the biggest bang for your buck. I'll show you what the user sees in terms of the different ads you'll be creating. You have probably seen several of these ads yourself as you've used Facebook. This'll help you tie your Facebook campaigns with what you have been seeing all along. It will also help you understand how to better target your ads in a way that is pleasing for the user. Let's get started. There are numerous types of ads you can build on Facebook. I listed most of them here. The five main types of Facebook ads are Promoted Page Ads, Promoted Posts, Promoted URLs, Sponsored Stories, and Promoted App Installs. You'll use each of these for different reasons and different purposes. Let me spend some time showing you what each of them are and how each can be used to accomplish your app's purposes.

Building Ads Based on Passion
So far you've learned about creating ads, what the different types of online advertising are, and how you can apply that to Facebook. You've done the most important part, getting to know what the tools are and how you can use them. Now you get to learn how to apply those tools to your marketing strategy. In this module, I'm going to show you a simple strategy I use that is guaranteed to drive engagement, get likes on your Pages, and convert your ads for the least amount of money possible. The trick is in using the passions of your audience to get their attention and drive likes to your Pages. In this module, I'm going to show you all about using passion to grow your audience. Here's what you'll get from this module. First, I'll talk about what you need to know to build your ads effectively so they get the most bang for your buck.
