Hi, everyone, my name is Jason Alba. Welcome to my course, Effective Phone Skills. I am founder and CEO of jibberjobber.com, which is a CRM for job seekers. I created this course because I've seen opportunities for improvement in the phone calls I'm on. We can spend more than half of our work week in meetings, many of which are on the phone. I want to give you a strong foundation to handle those calls effectively and have better outcomes. To do that, we'll talk about communication and relationships, which are key to having successful calls. In this course, we're going to talk about how to have better calls. Some of the major topics we'll cover include strategically preparing for calls, communication tactics, and how to manage a call that seems to get out of control. By the end of this course, you'll know exactly what you can and should do to be more effective on your calls.
