What you'll learn

In this series of tutorials, we will learn how to create different kinds of explosions using just FumeFX in 3ds Max. We'll start the training by first learning about the anatomy of our explosions, and then we will have an introduction to FumeFX, covering the basics that you can start using today. After that, we will cover a few examples of explosions and dense smoke. At the end of the tutorial, we are going to create a dust explosion, and by the end of the training you will have knowledge on how to create nice-looking explosions, fire, and smoke with FumeFX. Software required: 3Ds Max 2012, After Effects CS6, FumeFX.
