In this 3ds Max tutorial, we will learn how to create exterior visualizations from start to finish. We will go through several different stages, including modeling and preparing vegetation models like grass and trees so we can use them in our scene as proxy. We also go through lighting, texturing, and post-production, where we will learn couple of techniques about how to make our renders looks better and more appealing. Software required: 3ds Max 2012, V-Ray 2.20.03, Photoshop CS5.
Introduction and Project Overview Hello, and welcome in exterior visualization tutorial with 3-D Max V-Ray and Photoshop. I am Maciej Jura and I'm owner of visualization company working on small and big projects from all over Europe. In this tutorial, I want to show you the process of creating exteriors. On the following lessons, we create our building and then I show you how to model geometric grass and trees. Those are really high-quality models, so we are going to find a way how to deal with it and use V-ray proxies. Then we go ahead and add lighting to our scene and render this out. At the end, we move to Photoshop and I show you how to achieve better looks of our visualizations. So let's begin.
