Self Publishing Hard Copy Books My name is Jay Mcfarland and I want to welcome you to this module, Self Publishing Hard Copy Books. In this module I'm going to give you an overview of how I've been able to publish hard copy books without spending any money upfront. My books are all available in hard copy or via e-book and I didn't have to spend anything to do that, which is amazing to me in this world we live in that you can actually do that. In this module I'm first going to give you an introduction to the self publishing process for hard copy books. I use a service called LuLu. com. There are other services out there, but I'm going to give you an introduction to Lulu, then I'm going to show you how to create your book for LuLu. com. I'm going to take you through the publishing process of that book and then I'm going to show you the LuLu. com store front. Now, just like with any of the services that I'm showing you in this course, there are other services that are offered that do similar things to LuLu. com. I'm showing you Lulu because I've been using it for years, I've had great success with their product, I know how to use it, but that doesn't mean there aren't other ones out there and they might suit your needs a little bit better. The main message for you in this module, and in the whole course, is that in today's world you shouldn't have to spend a lot of money to publish hard copy books or to publish e-books, so please know that these services are out there, that I have used them successfully, and that means you can use them successfully. Let's go ahead and get started with an introduction to how I've been able to self publish these hard copy books.
Creating Mobile Games My name is Jay Mcfarland and I want to welcome you to this module, Creating Mobile Games Without Code. This is one of my favorite resources for generating income streams. I have over 100 games available across multiple platforms. I do it all with one service. They all generate some form of revenue for me and it is so easy to use. I don't use any code, so let's go ahead and get started with showing you how I've managed to pull this off. First of all, I'll give you an introduction to creating mobile games without code, then I'll give you an introduction to the service that I use. It's called GameSalad. It's not the only service out there to allow you to do this, there's another one called Corona, and several others, but this is the one that I have found great success with. I love their system, I love their support, and if it's working for me why not stick with it. I'll then give you a brief overview of creating games with GameSalad and then how easy it is to publish those games with GameSalad, and then if you are interested in really diving into how to use GameSalad I have already published multiple courses within Pluralsight. com on how to create your own games, how to monetize and test those games, so if you're interested, I've shown you how to develop a game and publish it from start to finish, and you can do that all right here from within Pluralsight. Let's go ahead and get started and I'll give you a brief introduction of how to create mobile games without code.
