Course Overview
Hi, my name is Yan Zhang. Welcome to my course, Getting Started with Android In‑App Purchase. If you have developed some Android apps and want to convert your hard work into profit by adding in‑app purchases into your apps, this is the course for you. Google keeps evolving their billing library for in‑app purchase, which can cause a lot of effort for us to keep updated and collect all the related information. I'd like to share my experience and study for in‑app purchase in this course with you. I will show you the whole image of implementing in‑app purchase and go through all necessary steps for integrating in‑app purchase into your app. In this course, we will add digital products in Google Play, integrate Google Play in‑app billing library into our project, and build up a back end system to empower in‑app purchase functions in our app. At last, I will discuss security risks for in‑app purchase and how to design a good user experience to increase sales. To follow this course, I hope that you are familiar with Android Studio and Kotlin language. You should have basic understanding on LiveData and Room database. If you're not familiar with them, don't worry. There are courses on Pluralsight to prepare you for them. When you finish this course, you will get a good insight of implementing Google Play billing in your app and setting up your back end for supporting in‑app purchase. I hope that you will join me on this journey to learn how to implement in‑app purchase in your app with the Getting Started with Android In‑App Purchase course here, at Pluralsight.
