Course Overview
Hi, everyone. My name is Alan Smith, and welcome to my course, Getting Started without Azure Media Services. I'm a senior consultant at Active Solution in Stockholm, Sweden. Azure Media Services provides a cloud‑based environment that enables you to manage and publish digital video content and even leverage artificial intelligence to analyze video and audio content. In this course, we're going to cover the core functionality of Azure Media Services. Some of the major topics that we will cover include managing digital video assets, digital video encoding formats, automating video encoding jobs, playing encoded video content, and analyzing video and audio content. By the end of this course, you'll know how to leverage the cloud and artificial intelligence to enhance your digital video productions. Before beginning this course, you should be familiar with the basics of working with digital video. And if you plan to develop with the Media Services SDK, some C# programming knowledge will be useful to have. I hope you'll join me on this journey to learn Azure Media Services with the Getting Started with Azure Media Services course at Pluralsight.
