Hello. My name is Laura Coyle and I'm a freelance illustrator and Adobe Illustrator instructor. In this tutorial series I'll be demonstrating focused illustrator techniques. I've been looking through my files to find details in my work where I've learned and discovered helpful tips for working with Illustrator that I can share with you. My goal is to keep these tutorials as efficient as possible so you can learn something new and learn it quickly and take it and apply it to your own work. We'll tackle just one task in each movie, but you're likely to learn a few other Illustrator tricks and methods as I demonstrate how I like to work. There won't be exercise files with artwork as I have in some of my longer classes on Train Simple, but I will be demonstrating each technique in a step-by-step fashion so that you can duplicate my results on your own and I'll be moving quickly so I'll assume you have some foundational knowledge of Illustrator. If you need background information on Illustrator basics, then check out the more in-depth Illustrator classes here on Train Simple. Alright, meet me in the next movie and we'll get started.
