Course Overview
Hi everyone, my name is Shannon Mashek. Welcome to my course, InDesign CC Print Production. I am an independent digital and print art director. InDesign is the most popular desktop publishing software used for print projects from sales sheets and brochures, to books and catalogs, and a lot of things in between. This course is a quick introduction to creating a print project within InDesign CC, and no prior experience with InDesign is required. Some of the major topics that we will cover include basic elements of print design layout and how to adjust those elements within InDesign, working with color within InDesign, working with images within InDesign, and packaging and exporting your print-ready files. By the end of the course, you'll know the basics of designing for print within InDesign and how to apply those concepts to your own projects. From here, continue your learning by diving into InDesign with courses on EPUB Fundamentals and Online Publishing. I hope you'll join me on this journey to learn designing for print with the InDesign CC Print Production course, at Pluralsight.
