Introduction and Project Overview
Hello, my name is Robert Simons. I'm one of the co-founders at Gadget-Bot in California, a concept artist for the film and game industry. Some of the more recent projects I've worked on is The Thing in 2011, Borderlands 2, and the upcoming film Ender's Game in 2013. Today I'll be taking a rough silhouette I've done and a number of rough shapes I've created, such as circles, squares, and triangles, and kitbash them across the silhouette that I have. This will allow us to play with the shapes that we have to get new and different shapes. From there, we'll then take the painting and polish it up to give us a final illustration in a very short amount of time. Hope you enjoy.
