Course Overview
Hi. My name is Forian Girardot. I'm a digital compositor and a motion designer. Welcome in my course, Maya MASH: Motion Graphics. In this course, you'll get to see how Maya is a powerful tool to create motion graphics. You'll go through the workflow of a practical shot. You'll start by creating the geometries using the SVG Import tool and the Type tool Within a couple of minutes. You can import illustrator or any vector files to create great geometries. Then using the outstanding Mash tools, you will learn how to animate the objects. You will then render the shots with Arnold and finish the projects in After Effects on Nuke. Some of the key takeaways of this course include using vectors to generate 3D in Maya, using Mash to create outstanding animations, rendering using Arnold, comping the shots using either Nuke or After Effects. By the end of this course, you'll be confident using Maya to create stunning motion graphics. Even if you don't have any modeling or animation knowledge, this course is made for you. This course is beginner friendly in Maya. However, if you want to follow along the After Effects of the Nuke module, I will recommend to have the fundamentals of these software. This course is ala carte and you'll be able to choose if you want to finish the shots in Nuke or in After Effects. I'm really excited about this project, so let's get started.
