Familiar with the Microsoft Azure cloud platform, but looking to explore more on deploying web and mobile backends? This course teaches you what you need to know in order to effectively design and implement web applications into the Azure cloud.
The Microsoft Azure cloud platform is key when implementing and deploying web and mobile backends. In this course, Implementing Web and Mobile Services on Microsoft Azure, you'll learn about the web and mobile services that support software development projects and deployments in the Azure cloud. First, you'll explore how to deploy and manage Azure Web Apps and take a look at Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). Next, you'll delve into Azure functions, API management, Logic Apps, and more. Then, you'll explore deployment scenarios and see how to do basic deployments. Finally, you'll discover how to build an end-to-end continuous delivery pipeline. By the end of the course, you'll have a solid foundation of knowledge you can use to deploy and manage web and mobile backends running in the Azure cloud.
Course Overview Hey everyone. This is Mike Pfeiffer, and welcome to Implementing Web and Mobile Services on Microsoft Azure. In this course, we'll take a look at everything you need to know to deploy web applications and mobile backends running in the Azure Cloud. To get started, we'll take a look at working with Azure App Service and how you can deploy and manage web applications in the Azure portal, as well from the command line, building an App Service plan, building web applications on top of that App Service plan, and understanding the different pricing tiers that are available to us. From there, we'll get into deployment scenarios for web applications running in the App Service environment. So we'll see how to do some basic deployments, we'll see how to do continuous deployment from a GitHub repository into App Service, and then we'll dive deeper into things like Azure Functions and WebJobs, API Management, Logic Apps, and we'll take a look at running Docker containers on the Azure Kubernetes AKS service. Finally, we'll tie everything together by building an end-to-end continuous delivery pipeline using the Azure DevOps suite of services. So if you're a developer looking to build and manage web applications on the Azure platform, this course is definitely for you.
