Hello friends. Welcome to the Microsoft Cognitive Services: Bing Autosuggest course. My name is Matthew Soucoup, and I'm a principal at Code Mill Technologies. Bing Autosuggest harnesses the power of the Bing search engine to provide users a real time search experience in your applications by suggesting search terms as your user's type. This course is a quick introduction to the Microsoft Cognitive Services Bing Autosuggest and you should have a little bit of experience with .NET to get the most out of it. In this course, you're going to learn about the ins and outs of Bing Autosuggest, which is a component of the larger cognitive services offering of Microsoft Azure. You'll see what Bing Autosuggest is used for and when it should not be used, how to set it up within the Azure portal, the components of a search, including how to tailor it for specific users, and interpreting the search results so you can display them appropriately within the context of your app. you'll be equipped with the knowledge of how to add real time search experiences to your applications by suggesting search terms as your user's type using the Bing Autosuggest Service for Microsoft Cognitive Services.
